The AIC continues its strong interest in publishing books on the U.S.-Iran relationship.  Cyrus Vance's prediction that the two countries would become increasing interrelated and involved has come to be.  It is not, however, only the issue of oil that brings these two great countries together.  Energy is increasingly about not just oil, but about gas and other non-carbon sources, such as nuclear.  Other issues deserving attention include those focusing upon health, human rights, women's rights, education, and welfare.  Globalization is bringing the U.S. and Iran together in ways never before imagined.  Please stay tuned for our next important book on the new opportunities and challenges of this relationship.
