On the day before the announcement of the nuclear deal, AIC's Emad Kiyaei shares his thoughts on the negotiations

Speaking with Al Jazeera America on the eve of the nuclear agreement between the P5+1 and Iran, AIC Executive Director Emad Kiyaei discusses the final stage of the negotiations and some of the remaining sticking points. When asked if Congress could block a potential nuclear deal with Iran, Kiyaei responds, "They may put a lot of pressure. There's no question about that. But I think that there's been so much political capital by the world powers and Iran in this process, and we must remember this is not a bilateral agreement between Iran and the US. This is multilateral, there's other world powers involved in this, and I think it'll be very difficult for the Obama administration not to be able to be seen as a constructive player..."
