On the day before the announcement of the nuclear deal, AIC's Emad Kiyaei shares his thoughts on the negotiations
/Speaking with Al Jazeera America on the eve of the nuclear agreement between the P5+1 and Iran, AIC Executive Director Emad Kiyaei discusses the final stage of the negotiations and some of the remaining sticking points. When asked if Congress could block a potential nuclear deal with Iran, Kiyaei responds, "They may put a lot of pressure. There's no question about that. But I think that there's been so much political capital by the world powers and Iran in this process, and we must remember this is not a bilateral agreement between Iran and the US. This is multilateral, there's other world powers involved in this, and I think it'll be very difficult for the Obama administration not to be able to be seen as a constructive player..."
